Our Approach

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

You may already know that CBT is the gold standard for addressing a wide range of psychological challenges, including anxiety, depression, OCD, phobias, ADHD, and more. CBT can help your child or adolescent identify and change dysfunctional thought patterns, regulate their difficult emotions, and build healthy behaviours and habits. Our clinical training and practice are firmly grounded in the evidence-based literature that underscores the effectiveness of CBT.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Do you feel that your child or adolescent gets frequently trapped in negative thoughts or paralysing emotions, hindering their pursuit of what truly matters in life? If so, ACT could be the ideal therapeutic approach for them. With ACT, we can assist your child or adolescent disengage from these thoughts and emotions, identify their core values and goals, and make a dedicated commitment to actions that align with what really matters to them.

Mindfulness-based Therapy

You may be surprised to learn that mindfulness isn't solely about meditation and yoga; instead, it's a fresh approach to living that invites you to engage fully and wholeheartedly in every daily experience. Children and adolescents today excel at multitasking, and that's fantastic. At the same time, they might have difficulties in maintaining focus, addressing daily challenges effectively, connecting with emotions, or fully savouring life. Mindfulness training could really transform their life.

Behavioral Activation

If you or someone close to you has ever experienced depression, low mood, or burnout, you understand how challenging it can be not only to enjoy life but even to carry out the simplest daily activities. Depression is even more troubling when it affects children or adolescents. Through the evidence-based practice of Behavioral Activation, we can help your child commit to taking small steps towards reclaiming their life, finding joy, and regaining a sense of accomplishment.

Exposure Therapy

Is your child or adolescent inclined to avoid a stressful social interaction, a fearful situation, or an anxiety-provoking activity? This is a valid and natural self-preservation instinct. At the same time, it can limit positive life experiences and lead to isolation. We offer evidence-based, compassionate solutions to help your child or adolescent gradually face fears, anxieties, and phobias in a safe environment, allowing them to regain control over difficult emotions and reconnect with their life.

Today's Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA Therapy)*
